Receipt & Warranty Vault is designed to help users save receipts, warranty details, product photos, serial numbers, notes, warranty expiration dates, and related reminders.
1. Information You Provide
The app may allow you to enter and store information such as:
- Product names
- Store names
- Purchase dates
- Warranty periods and warranty expiration dates
- Receipt images or product photos
- Serial numbers
- Notes
- Categories and custom categories
This information is used to provide the core features of the app, including organizing warranty records, showing warranty status, reminders, search, filtering, export, and backup features.
2. Local Storage
Your warranty records, receipt images, product photos, notes, and related information are primarily stored locally on your device.
If you delete the app or clear its data, locally stored information may be removed from your device unless you have created a backup.
3. Cloud Backup
Receipt & Warranty Vault may offer optional cloud backup and restore features for supported users.
If you choose to use cloud backup, the app may ask you to connect a Google account and may upload backup files to Google Drive or another supported Google storage location. This may include your saved warranty records, receipt images, product photos, notes, categories, and related metadata.
Cloud backup is optional. Premium access does not require you to connect Google Drive unless you choose to use cloud backup features.
4. Photos and Files
The app may request access to your camera, photos, or files so you can add receipt images, warranty documents, or product photos.
These files are used only to provide the features you choose to use, such as attaching receipts to warranty records or exporting your data.
5. Notifications and Reminders
The app may request permission to send notifications. Notifications are used to remind you about warranty expiration dates or other warranty-related alerts.
You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
6. Advertising
The free version of Receipt & Warranty Vault may display ads.
Ads may be provided by Google AdMob or similar advertising services. These services may collect or use device information, advertising identifiers, app interaction data, and other data to provide, limit, measure, and improve ads.

7. Premium Purchases and Subscriptions
Receipt & Warranty Vault may offer Premium features through Google Play purchases or subscriptions.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. The app may receive purchase status information from Google Play to unlock Premium features, but it does not receive your full payment card details.
8. Analytics and Technical Diagnostics
The app may collect anonymized usage analytics through Firebase Analytics, such as screen openings, item creation, export usage, backup usage, Premium feature usage, and rating dialog interactions.
We do not send item names, store names, serial numbers, notes, photos, receipts, warranty documents, or backup files through Firebase Analytics.
The app may also send a limited technical first-launch diagnostic event to a developer-controlled endpoint. This event may include the app package name, app version, device manufacturer and model, Android version, SDK version, and device locale.
This technical diagnostic event is used only to help verify app launches, diagnose release issues, and monitor basic technical operation.
The first-launch diagnostic event does not include your saved products, receipts, photos, serial numbers, notes, store names, warranty records, backup files, Google account content, or payment information.
Analytics can be disabled in the app settings. Technical diagnostic events are limited to basic app and device information and are not used to identify the content you store in the app.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
Information may be processed by third-party services only when necessary to provide app functionality, such as:
- Google Play services for purchases and subscriptions
- Google AdMob for advertising
- Google Firebase Analytics for optional usage analytics
- Google Drive or Google account services if you choose to use cloud backup
- Firebase Hosting for hosting the website and privacy policy
- A developer-controlled technical endpoint for limited first-launch diagnostics
10. Data Export and Deletion
The app may allow you to export your warranty data, receipts, photos, or related records.
You can delete warranty items and related information inside the app. You can also remove the app or clear app data from your device settings.
If you used cloud backup, you may also need to delete backup files from the connected cloud account if you want to remove cloud copies.
11. Children
Receipt & Warranty Vault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect app data. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your device, Google account, and backups secure.
